When my sister and I were teens, we performed a set of Christmas music with our mother in the living rooms of family friends and neighbors. This was our Christmas gift for at least three years during the '80s. At the end of that period (when I was 19, Jenn 16) we used my first four-track system to make a home studio recording of those songs, which we then sent to various family and friends around the country. One of these days I'll digitize those old tracks and put them online!

With that bit of family history in mind, I'm happy to say we've re-kindled what I hope will be a lasting family tradition. As a holiday surprise for their grandmother, I helped my kids record a Christmas album during the days & nights of December 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, 2003. They had a lot of fun doing it, and we look forward to making more recordings in years to come.

We initially produced 50 copies of the CD with the following text and graphics. I have included MP3 files of the songs, which are free to download. Enjoy!
